Carolina Christian College is proud to welcome Robert "Bob" Rose as the Head Women's Soccer Coach for the Centurions, leading the rebuild of the program toward a Fall 2027 return to competition. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Rose brings a deep commitment to the CCC athletic mission: developing discipline, character, and teamwork through high-level collegiate sports. The NCCAA's #KingChasing initiative serves as a core underpinning of Coach Rose's philosophy. He is dedicated to building a Christ-centered team culture where student-athletes are challenged to pursue excellence for an audience of One. His approach to the game emphasizes integrity, servant leadership, and the understanding that true victory involves honoring Christ in every aspect of competition, academics, and daily life. Holding a United States Soccer Federation B License and the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 3 diploma, Coach Rose joins the Centurions with a proven track record in collegiate leadership and player development. He previously led the recruitment efforts for the rebranded Fighting Squirrels women's soccer program at Mary Baldwin University (NCAA DIII), bringing in seven highly talented student-athletes for the incoming women's soccer coach to work with as the program returned to competition in the NCAA DIII USA South Athletic Conference. In addition to his collegiate tenure, Coach Rose possesses an extensive background in the youth game, which includes coaching competitive elite and travel club teams. As the Founder and Technical Director of Testament Soccer Academy (TN), he has consistently cultivated highly competitive training environments. Through his academy and club experience, he provides dedicated college recruitment advice, successfully guiding young athletes and their families through the complex transition to collegiate play. Coach Rose grew up in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where he played at the highest levels of youth soccer before continuing to play collegiately for Flagler College (NCAA DII) and Saint Petersburg College (NJCAA) before graduating from the University of South Florida with Finance and Economics degrees. Combining high-level technical instruction with intentional mentorship, Coach Rose is committed to laying the foundation for a formidable Centurions Women's Soccer program while preparing young women for lifelong success beyond the pitch.
