Carolina Christian College is proud to welcome Robert "Bob" Rose as the Head Men's Soccer Coach for the Centurions. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Rose brings a deep commitment to the CCC athletic mission: developing discipline, character, and teamwork through high-level collegiate sports. The NCCAA’s #KingChasing initiative serves as a core underpinning of Coach Rose’s philosophy. He is dedicated to building a Christ-centered team culture where student-athletes are challenged to pursue excellence for an audience of One. His approach to the game emphasizes integrity, servant leadership, and the understanding that true victory involves honoring Christ in every aspect of competition, academics, and daily life. Holding a United States Soccer Federation B License and the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 3 diploma, Coach Rose joins the Centurions with a proven track record in collegiate leadership and elite player development. He previously served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach and Soccer Coordinator at Mary Baldwin University (NCAA DIII), where his duties were exclusively focused on athletic administration and establishing a highly competitive standard for the inaugural men’s athletic program at the school. As a first-year program, the MBU men’s soccer team immediately established a legacy of academic and athletic performance, with the inaugural roster maintaining a 3.5 GPA while earning their way to the USA South Athletic Conference tournament in their first year as a varsity program. In addition to his collegiate tenure, Coach Rose possesses an extensive background in the youth game, which includes coaching competitive elite and travel club teams. As the Founder and Technical Director of Testament Soccer Academy (TN), he has consistently cultivated highly competitive training environments. Through his academy and club experience, he provides dedicated college recruitment advice, successfully guiding young athletes and their families through the complex transition to collegiate play. Coach Rose grew up in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where he played at the highest levels of youth soccer before continuing to play collegiately for Flagler College (NCAA DII) and Saint Petersburg College (NJCAA) before graduating from the University of South Florida with Finance and Economics degrees. Combining high-level technical instruction with intentional mentorship, Coach Rose is committed to shaping the Centurions into a formidable NCCAA Division II presence while preparing young men for lifelong success beyond the pitch.
